Dr. Yuliang Gao, Ph.D.

Dr. Yuliang Gao is a translational oncology researcher specializing in complex cancer case analysis, nutritional intervention strategies, and functional dietary compound development. He holds a Ph.D. in Oncology and has led several interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of tumor biology, clinical nutrition, and food science.
With a deep commitment to bridging scientific discovery and real-world application, Dr. Gao founded the Westbridge Translational Oncology Institute to explore how targeted nutrition and bioactive compounds can support cancer care. His work has expanded to include functional coffee and plant-based formulations designed to modulate inflammation, metabolic health, and cognitive performance in at-risk populations.
Dr. Gao is currently based in California under an O-1 visa for individuals with extraordinary ability in science. He is also developing translational food innovations that integrate medical research with daily lifestyle interventions.
